SALON POLICIES
We strive for 100% customer satisfaction, please notify us within 2 hours
if you are not satisfied with our services.
All hair, color and treatment services are listed at the starting price for that service. The stylist you select and condition of your hair will affect the cost of the service. Price will be quoted upon consultation prior to your service. Having a consultation is an extremely important part of the hair treatments process.

Consultations are required 48 hours before any Hair Color, Hair Extension, or Hair Smoothing Treatment services are rendered.

 

CHECK IN

We suggest you arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to check in. This will let you fully enjoy your appointment. Should you arrive late, your appointment may be shortened to allow the stylist to be on time for his/her next client.

BOOKING POLICY

At the time of booking your services, we do re require a credit card to secure the services and time that is reserved for you. At the time of booking your services online the salon is not responsible for your choice of booking. It is totally customers responsibility for booking online. After completing booking your appointment a confirmation text & email will be send to make sure we have the reserved spot for you.
To avoid charges, please honor our 24-hour advance notice cancellation policy for single treatments. Late cancellations will be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the services prices. No-shows will be charged the full amount of the service booked at management discretion. Email cancellations are not accepted.

Appointments changed with less than a 24 hour notice will result in a charge of 100% of the service(s) that was initially booked.

 

REBOOKING FEE FOR MISSED APPOINTMENTS AND SAME DAY CANCELLATIONS

A Rebooking fee will be required before scheduling future appointments for missed appointments and same day cancellations. This fee must be paid in full to keep or make any future appointments.

A $45 rebooking fee will be charged for all general Salon Hair Care services.
A $100 rebooking fee will be charged for all Hair Extensions and Hair Smoothing appointments.

Remember, if “something comes up” and you will not be able to keep your scheduled appointment, there may be something we can do.

Maytime  holds a 100% right of full policy to charge clients full price for services during services or at check out time.

Mytime.com/Albert Amin Salon holds a 100% right to charge for the services after all services were performed by our stylists/colorists.

 

LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS & RE-SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS WITH NOTIFICATION

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than a 24 hour notice with proper notification will result in a charge 50% of the service fee.

As a courtesy to our stylists & other clients desiring an appointment slot, if you need to cancel, change or reschedule an existing service/appointment, we request a minimum of 24 hour notice. Failure to do so will incur a charge of a minimum 50% of the service fee. 24 Hours notice is required for all general Salon Hair Care service cancellations.

Proper Notification: CALL THE SALON at 212 570-4001. Text Messages and Emails will NOT serve as proper Notification.

 

REFUND POLICY

Styling/Coloring/Haircutting Services, Retail products & Hair Extensions products are non-refundable.

Store Credit Policy – Store credit can be redeemed for purchase on Salon Services or retail products. Store credit is given by customer service in lieu for cash refund.

Your store credit is the same as cash. Store credit CANNOT be redeemed for CASH. Store credit is valid for 6 months after the receiving date.

All products & services are not refundable!

SPECIAL NEEDS AND MEDICAL CONDITIONS

Your comfort and wellbeing are very important to us. Prior to receiving your service, please inform us about any special needs or medical conditions, pregnancy, hypertension, injuries, allergies or disabilities. Taking with one of our stylists will help customize your service to ensure maximum enjoyment and benefits.

SALONS PROMOTIONS AND SPECIAL

All salons specials and promotions CAN NOT be combined with other salon offers.
We are not responsible for any lost or stolen articles in the salon, we’ll make sure you’ll keep belongings next to you.

Please note: All the salon’s Blow Out packages are final sale, can not be transferable, must be used by the same person. After the purchase, clients should use the package during 8 weeks schedule. This promotion can not be combined with other salon specials.

All promotional packages (Groupon or Living social) CAN NOT be booked online. Must call the salon to schedule an appointment. 

GRATUITY

Prices do not include tax & gratuity. In appreciation of the staff’s for outstanding services, please add  20%  gratuities. Gratuities can not be added to credit or debit cards.

We do except Cash, Visa & Master Cards, We do not except checks. Gratuities are in CASH only. Minimum credit card purchases are $40

PRODUCTS

If you purchased a product from us and its not working out for you, we would be happy to exchange it for something that will better suit your needs. However we do not offer refunds on retail purchases and we cannot accept any product returned that is old or has been used more than a few times.
